Hyvää juhannusta kaikille, riktig härlig midsommar:)
Today is midsummer celebration weekend in Finland and Sweden. It is the celebration for light and beauty of midsummer (except it is raining and dark right now:)
We have light here in Espoo 19 hours and in northern Finland like in Utsjoki the sun doesn't go down at all until 28.7.
..the 3-rd oneReplyDelete
.... strange light ...
all the best
So hard to imagine light for 19 hours as for us, on the other side of the world, right now, it is dark at 5pm and the sun won't rise again till 7am. We really are opposites!ReplyDelete
Love the daisy on your hand - such a simply perfect little flower.
Kiitos Henrietta, hyvää juhannusta! Ah, tuo alin kuva taas kolahti!ReplyDelete
beautiful images :)ReplyDelete
Absolutely stunning photos! Daisies are just about my fave flower, ever, and yours is beautifully captured...and, the third one is gorgeous; I love the mysterious light. Fabulous edits, as well!ReplyDelete
Trevlig midsommar! (även om det regnar :P)

OH Beautiful summery images.ReplyDelete
Aww, your photos remind me of my home country, even though I'm not from so far up in the north. And sometimes I am homesick. Ugh. :-)ReplyDelete
Absolutely stunning photos you've shared. I would have to have window covers that shut out ALL the light of nighttime to be able to sleep.ReplyDelete
My post for today: Fact or Fiction...you decide.
Thanks for the visit Wednesday...your comments are always treasured!
Lovely first shot Henrietta. It must be so very strange when the sun does not go down at all. But I have a feeling I'd be out all night with my camera :-)ReplyDelete
Love the daisy shot, Henrietta. :)ReplyDelete

Beautiful images, Henrietta! I've been photographing my daisies, but I'm not capturing the detail that you do! The bug looks rather dangerous. ;-)ReplyDelete
Gorgeous photos. But that last one with the power lines is fabulous! Have a great weekend.ReplyDelete
The colours in these photos are scrumptious!ReplyDelete
I am arriving in Finland on Sunday! I am so excited but also nervous! But really ready for so many hours of daylight! That's great!!!

Translator done! Though I have read the translation and there are some things that make no sense. But I think it give the general idea.ReplyDelete
How do you do it day and day again? Never a bad shot. Love these! Those first two are perfect for our theme! Yah! Thanks so much for playing along again.ReplyDelete
Daisy for sure, you are so vibrant my lady. You have all of us on pins and needles to see your flowers each day. Do you ever sleep?ReplyDelete
Shasta Daisy's orginated by Luther Burbank in Santa Rosa, CA. I live just on the other side of this town, and have been to his gardens many times. It is a great place to stop by if anyone is this way. Lots of history, great photo opportunities. However you Henrietta have the market on photos of flowers!
OPPPS, spelling mistake on my previous post to you. I did not type greiving!ReplyDelete
" DAISIES are favorites"…
