Dimly mood melody

As the night comes here through
In its dimly mood melody
And every feeling is blue
In another morning somewhere free...

As long as skies are blue

Have a great weekend my friends and enjoy the heat. It has been +30 celsius here in Finland which is quite rare but so nice. I'm going to work to freeze as there is air-condition which really blows my hair out :) Really, I have to wear scarf around my neck and huge woollen shawl but I don't mind. It is easier to wear more clothes than take it all away if it is too hot. It is working place so there is some kind of moral rules how to dress I guess :)

Reality checkup

My summer vacation is ending, I have a long weekend at work. After Krakow I have basically done anything than just being, reading, listening music, watching movies, taking afternoon naps in the garden, watching sunsets etc. No any kind of stress about anything, I think this has been very good vacation and totally relaxing. I'm ready for going back to work, see my workmates and joking around with them :)

Botanical Garden, Krakow

Ihanaa viikonloppua!

Few pictures from Botanical Garden in Krakow. Light is always trouble in these visits, you know hard daylight and they shut doors 7pm. so you just have to manage with what you have. I tried to find blooming from the shadow part of the garden so the light would not be so terrible bad. There is more to come in time.
Have a great weekend!

It would take me forever to tell you!

As it is, we are merely bolting our lives - gulping down undigested experiences as fast as we can stuff them in - because awareness of our own existence is so superficial and so narrow that nothing seems to us more boring than simple being. If I ask you what you did, saw, heard, smelled, touched and tasted yesterday, I am likely to get nothing more than the thin, sketchy outline of the few things that you noticed, and of those only what you thought worth remembering. Is it surprising that an existence so experienced seems so empty and bare that it's hunger for an infinite future is insatiable?

But suppose you could answer,  "It would take me forever to tell you, and I am much too interested in what's happening now."
How is it possible that a being with such sensitive jewels as the eyes, such enchanted musical instruments as the ears, and such a fabulous arabesque of nerves as the brain can experience itself as anything less than a god? And, when you consider that this incalculably subtle organism is inseparable from the still more marvellous patterns of it's environment - from the minutest electrical designs to the whole company of the galaxies - how is it conceivable that this incarnation of all eternity can be bored with being?

Hey, I had little brake while I was in Krakow with my friends. This was my first time there and I can highly recommend the town. It is cute, clean, full of most atmospheric cafes and restaurants. Food is good, people are nice and friendly, it is really cheap (comparing to Finland). We rented 3 bedroom apartment which was very stylish, near to everything but so peaceful. Absolutely great holiday all in all.

Beneath the intricate network of noise
there's a still more persistent tapestry
woven of whispers, murmurs and chants

It's the heaving breath of the very earth
carrying along the prayer of all things:
trees, ants, stones, creeks and mountains alike

All giving silent thanks and remembrance
each moment, as a tug on a rosary bead
while we harry past, heedless of the mysteries

And, yet, every secret wants to be told
every shy creature to approach and trust us
if  only we patiently listen, with all our senses.

Magic surrounds the world

Magic makes the miracles,
magic finds those who need it,
looking around,
moving around the world,
creating peace and battle,
we search for a great peace,
the nature around us,
full of magic,
the love and harmony cross,
loving those that love it,
searching for friends and allies,
love of magic is truthful,
and magic shall love you always.

Hyvää juhannusta!

Friday Finds by Kim Klassen

"The species that has appeared most often in art since the fifteenth century is the German flag (Iris germanica), although many other species and hybrids appear, especially in seventeenth-century paintings. In general, the iris symbolizes kingship and majesty, both worldly and celestial. In heraldry, the lily appears as a fleur-delish in the arms of the rulers of Florence and France and their families, as well as the arms of various cities in France and Germany. Many medieval sources cite the iris as a symbol of Christ or divine rule, and a symbol of the Virgin as Heavenly queen."
from the book:
Belief in Nature (flowers with a message) by Sam Segal.

With these Irises from my garden I wish you a nice weekend my friends!
