Here is what I did

Ruth ask me if I would want to try her new textures and I always like challenges so I did try, here are the results and you should try them too if you like playing with textures. You can have textures for free from Ruth's beautiful blog here

I do not remember anymore what I did:) There is one layer of Shabby Script but thats all I remember.

Here is what I did with this one.

Mikä tän kukan nimi on?

En nyt kuolemaksenikaan muista tämän kukan nimeä. Se alkaa oleen mulla jo vakiokukka joka kesä. Tänä kesänä mulle kerrottiin että se on monivuotinen joten laitan sen kukkapenkkiin syksyn aikana enkä heitä roskiin niinkuin edellisinä syksyinä. Mitkä puskat mulla olis jo tätä jos oisin tiennyt aikaisemmin et on monivuotinen. Tämä on muuten takuuvarma kukkija pitkälle syksyyn.

I love this little flower, I have it every summer in my pots and blooming lasts long in autumn. I also love this picture, autumn light is so beautiful.

Koristeomenapuu ja tolloja oravia

Koristeomenapuun hyödyttömiä hedelmiä. Puu on ihan kaunis ja varsinkin keväällä kukkiensa ansiosta mutta näin syksyllä siitä ei ole kuin harmia hyvin runsaslukuisten marjojensa takia. Piha on kuin suuri marjapuuropata jollei sitä harjaa päivittäin.

This is Malus Purpurea Crabappletree which is very nice when it is blooming in spring but know it is not so nice. Hundreds of crabapples are falling in my walk bath, it is like crabapple mush and it's coming inside with your shoes if I don't sweep it like two times a day.

Live Every Moment


Pikku oravat pitää omaa pikku showtaan joka päivä ja en voi olla kikattamatta niille. Nää on todella huonoja kuvia ikkunan läpi mut se ei ole nyt pääasia vaan se et noi on ihanan tolloja. Ne yrittää kiivetä ikkunoita pitkin ylös eivätkä opi et se ei onnistu. Hyppiivät kun hullut ikkunaan vasten ja tippuvat maahan, oikeesti näin hauskaa showta en ole katsellut vähään aikaan:)

Little squirrels are so goofy. They are jumping against the window trying to get up and don't get it why it won't work. I haven't seen this entertaining show for a while:) The pictures are really bad, taking through the window but it is not important.

Love of light

Syksyinen valo on upeaa silloin kun saamme nauttia auringosta. Valo ei ole enään niin kovaa kuin kesällä, se on pehmeää ja kaunista. Käyttäkää hyväksenne pehmeää valoa kun se vielä on mahdollista. Tässä kriikunapuun lehvistö hieman pehmentää ja antaa ihanan valovarjoleikin kukka-asetelmalleni jonka väsäsin vanhaan Arabian sokerikkoon.

Here is my Love, Love of light. I love autumn light. It is so soft compare to light in summer which can be very harsh. The tree above is giving nice light and shadow effect to my flower arrangement which I made from the flowers which are still blooming.

Miksi tämä sohva on kadulla, ei hajuakaan. Muuttoautoa ei näkynyt missään eikä mitään muutakaan joka antaisi jotain vihjettä mikä on tarina. Hieno sohva ja olisi mieli tehnyt jäädä siihen lepuutteleen muttei kehdannut.

What is this couch doing middle of the sidewalk, I really don't know it just was there. I didn't saw any moving truck or any other hints what was the story behind this.

Something different

Lisa kirjoitti mielenkiintoisesta asiasta blogissaan kuinka meidän ajattelumme muuttuu aikuistumisen myötä (käy lukemassa täältä jos haluat lukea). 

Tässä kuvassa on meneillään joku lukio ykkösten nöyryytystapahtuma keskellä Espan puistoa perjantai iltapäivänä. Kuka meistä aikuisista konttaisi ja kumartelisi tuolla puistossa ihan sen vuoksi että se ehkä olis hauskaa, ei luultavasti kovinkaan moni mutta miksi ei! Ryhmässä nöyryytys ei olisi niin paha kuin yksinään (silloin soitettaisi valkoinen auto hakemaan pois), tuollainen hauskuus saattaisi olla hyvinkin vapauttava hetken kokemus ja ainakin saisi hyvät naurut, MUTTA sosiaalinen mielipide estää meitä tekemästä tätä. Mitä se naapurinkin rouva ajattelee jos näkee minut tekemässä tuon jne. 

Ei lapsena ajateltu niin pitkälle sitä tehtiin kaikkea hauskaa ja ajateltiin myöhemmin jos ajateltiin. Kuinka hauskaa olis mennä hyppiin kuralätäkköön mutta eihän se käy. Jos minulla olisi lapsi mukana hyppimässä kanssani lätäkössä se olisi aikuisten mielestä söpöä kuinka pidetään yhdessä hauskaa mutta jos yksin hypin siellä lätäkössä se valkoinen auto soitetaan taas noutamaan. Olisiko vapauttaa olla hieman pöhkö, ajatteli muut mitä tahansa!!!

Lisa wrote interesting text how our thinking changes over the years (read here). In this picture is some kind of high school happening, you know the first class humiliation. Happening was middle of the town where everybody see this. Can you imaging doing something like this now as an adult, I don't think so. Social pressure about what we are doing in public is too high that any adult would risk her/his reputation even just for fun. It might be so liberating to do something crazy like jumping in puddles. If you are doing that with the child it is okey and cute, you just having fun with your child BUT do that without child and everybody is looking at you like a crazy person, right!

It would be very liberating to be little goofy without thinking what others think about you:)

It is simple

Joskus se vaan on niin yksinkertaista. Ihminen tekee niinkin tavallista asiaa kuin teroittaa lyijykynää ja sit syttyy lamppu päässä että ompas kivan näköinen. Äkkiä kiikutetaan teroitusroska superstudioon

eli keittiön ikkunan eteen valkoiselle lautaselle. Valkoinen posliini heijastaa mukavasti valoa ja ikkunasta saadaan hieman valoa sateisena pimeänä päivänä. Tadaa tälläinen siitä syntyy, yksinkertaisuudesta:)

Hyvää viikonloppua

Sometimes it is just so simple. I was sharpening pen and I noticed how beautiful that "trash" was (sorry don't know the right english word for this). I took the trash, went to the kitchen and put it to white plate. White porcelain plate reflects light so nicely and window gives little light since it was dark rainy day.

So this is my super studio, as you can see nothing fancy just something what we all can do. Above is the macro picture and I did little cropping. I like how the light comes trough the trash and I like the shadow. Sometimes simple things works, right:)

Houses of Copenhagen

Texture tiistain aika Kimin kahvila blogissa. Tehtävänantona käyttää hänen crackerjack tekstuuria ja näin tehtiin. Tykkään kovasti tästä valokuvasta ihan originaalinakin  mutta se oli tarpeeksi simppeli tähän tekstuurin käyttöön ja tuo teksti piti laittaa koska tänään tuntuu onnelliselta! Ai miksi sepä omituista...no tilattiin eilen kahden viikon matka Amsterdamiin ja se laittaa jalat lentoon taas. Ekaksi piti lähtee Barceloonaan  mut liikaa hankaluuksia ja rouva ei osannut taas päättää mieltään joten Damiin siis. Ei olla aikaisemmin käytykkään ja odotan kovasti sitä. Toivomus olis ettei satais koko kahta viikkoa mut jos sataan sit sataa, what can I do, nada. 

Time to Texture Tuesday and theme was using Kim's Crackerjack texture so here it is. I like the original picture also very much but I tough it was enough simple for this texture (in my opinion) and I used one of Kim's text brush to express my happiness. Why do I feel so happy today, well we ordered two weeks holiday in Amsterdam  and I'm so exited for that. I haven't been in Amsterdam before and this is one dream come true (you know the endless list of places where you want to visit, I suppose everybody has that!)

En tajuu miksi en ole keksinyt aikaisemmin tälläisiä tehdä, tämähän on tosi hauska laittaa mennyt kuukausi pakettiin.

I really don't know why I haven't done this before. This is so fun way to put last month in nice package.

Sunday Series 52

First  I really didn't have any idea what to shoot for glass challenge. I wondered around my home and thinking what can I do, broken glass might be beautiful but I don't have any glass which I really want brake so let's try something else. I didn't want to shoot just different glasses, I wanted to do something different and then I though glass in glass and water, maybe little too much but let's try. I noticed there was no color so I put different things to the glass like tomatoes and little flower leaves from hydrangea. When I saw pictures in my computer I wasn't so happy for the result but then I thought how about cropping for just details of the pictures and then I was little more happy. I like this abstraction of the glass and water (with dust and hair in the water). I'm not still totally happy but I have tried:)

I'm so sorry this challenge is ending but I totally understand Nancy. The idea of this challenge (three  different pictures of the same subject) was the best idea for the some time and I really enjoy to doing this, let's hope it will come back or if somebody else will continue it!

Ladies, texture for you

Pitäisi varmaan hankkia elämä tai jotain ennenko olen kasvan kiinni koneeseeni. Tänään taas näitä päiviä että kauhea halu tehdä jotain mutta ei tiedä mitä joten istun koneella ja synnytin sit tälläisen:)

Syksy tekstuuri antaa hieman lämpöä kuvaan ja sitähän tässä aletaan pikkuhiljaan kaipaamaan.

I was bored again and had a need to do something but wasn't quite sure what to do, so I just sat on my computer and this was what came out! Syksy texture, syksy means autumn and it gives little warmness to your pictures. You can download it in my Google+ account and no you don't have to be a member of G+ for doing that but if you want to join I can send you an invitation (just need your email for that).
