Tässä kuva paikasta jossa asumme Italiassa. Olen siis maisemavalokuvauskurssilla Toskanassa tai matkalla sinne. En tiedä miten kaiken kerkee kuvaamaan kun joka päivä teemme retkiä maaseudelle ja tässä asuinpaikassakin riittäisi kuvaamista yllinkyllin. Siellä on nettiyhteys mutta saa nähdä kuinka paljon siitä pitää pulittaa josko voin tehdä postauksia kuluvan viikon aikana ja riittääkö aika. Minulla on niin korkeat odotukset maisemista, aikaisemmin en ole Toskanassa ollut. Laitan alle vielä linkin tuosta ihastuttavasta asuinpaikasta joka on ollut aikaan kirkko ainakin jos jotain kiinnostaa käydä kahtomassa.

Here is the picture where I'm going to stay for passing week. I'm on my way to Tuscany for taking part to landscape photographing course. We will make day trips to surrounding countryside  and little villages. I have no idea how I get to shoot everything, I think I need a day for just shooting our hotel. I have so great expectations from this trip. I hope internet connections don't pay too much that I can make a post or two for you guys. I leave a link to hotel websites if you want to look more pictures from there, there is a slideshow. This place has been the church once with many another things.

The canonica of San Fedele is an architectural site formed by a romanic church, mentioned since 1203 in the "lodo di Poggibonsi", which defined the territories of the Republics of Siena and Florence.

Elämä alkaa taas

Ikivanha rodoni kärsi mittavia vahinkoja massiivisista lumimääristä jotka tiputettiin katolta sen päälle. Puolet vehkaparasta oli katkennut ja olihan se leikattava siistimmäksi. No nyt se on ihan toispuoleinen ja karmea joten oli pakko ostaa kaksi uutta rodoa paikkaamaan tyhjää tilaa. Laitoin siihen kaksi valkoista tilalle ja toivotaan että lähtee kasvuun.

My very old Rhododendron suffered so much last winter from overwhelming amount of  snow that I have cut down half of it. The place looked so awful that I bought two new  Rhododendron to "block" the empty whole. 

Tämä viikolla ostamani jouluruusu on sitten upea ja pääseen maahan aikanaan, josko tuottaisi iloa sitten ensi keväänäkin.

I just love Lenten Rose, it so beautiful.

Kirjopikarililja on aukaissut nuppunsa ja on tosi viehkeä. 

Fritillaria meleagris has opened it's Buds, how lovely.

Oli niin ihana päivä olla ulkona. Tuli hieman siivottua pihaa ja leikeltyä puuta. Selkä ei pitkälle jaksanut kyykkimistä mutta tehdä se minkä selkä antaa periksi. Olen vihdoinkin (toivottavasti) oppinut ettei tarvi raataa kunnes tulee "veri nenästä". Grillattiinkin kaksi kertaa, illalla ensimmäiset grillikyrsät ja voi pojat että oli hyvää:)

It was such a lovely day outside, sunny and warm. Little cleaning and cutting until the back told me stop. We barbecued twice and ou boy it was so good. I love life after winter:)

Tässä taitaa olla melkein kaikki mitä löysin eilen pihamaalta, joten ei tässä leveillä kannata tällä pihalla:)

Nyt taivaalta tulee vettä isolla urakalla joten ei haittaa yhtään lähteä töihin. Nautiskelkaa olostanne sohvalla tai ulkona jos olette pyhävapailla.

This all I found in my yard so quite modest spring here:) Now it is raining hard so it doesn't matter that I will go to work. Have a lazy, relaxing and great easter you all guys who have a day off.

Tässä on yksi paikoista joissa aika usein kuvaan, sänky. Iltapäivällä aurinko paistaa suoraan makkariin ja saan pehmennettyä valon valoverhoilla niinkuin kuvassa näkyy. Tässä minun hieno "studioni" ei taida olla ihan pro tasoa mutta passaa minulle:)

Here is a picture where I shoot quite often, my bed. In the afternoon sun is shining to my bedroom so there is enough light to shoot and I soften hard light with thin white curtains. So this is my "studio" most often, not very pro but it is good enough to me:)

Wonder flower!!!

Älkää kysy mikä tämä on, en todellakaan tiedä. Kyllähän minä sitä kysyin ostotilanteessa mutta se poistui aivoistani saman tien. Tää on niin hauska kukka mun mielestäni. Se tuntuu sormissa ihan sametilta ja kuten lähikuvassa näette siinä on karvoitusta joka tekee sen pehmeäksi. Minusta se muistuttaa myös korvasientä takenteeltaan tai merenalaiset korallit tulee kans mieleen, siis ihan käsittämätön. Jos joku sattuu tietämään mikä on nimi tälle ihkulle ole hyvä ja jaa tietosi tollon kanssa:)

Don't ask me what this is , I really don't know. I did ask the name when I bought it but I forgot it right away. I find this so funny and interesting. It looks like one mushroom Gyromitra esculenta and as you can see in close up it is kind of hairy so it feels like velvet. This is so inscrutable that I really want to show you all how creative nature can be. If someone knows the name or any information please do let me know so I can share it:)

Eilen kuvasin ensimmäisen kerran takapihalla. Mitään kuvattavaa puutarhassa ei varsinaisesti ole mutta kävin kukkakaupassa ja meinasi mopo karata käsistä. Ostin jouluruusun, pikarililjan, anemoneja ja jonkin muun leikkokukan jonka nimeä en tietysti tiedä mutta näyttää korvasieneltä. Se on korvasienen muotoinen, palavan punainen ja lyhytkarvainen ihanko samettia. Kuvaa tulee lähipäivinä, se on hassuin kukka minkä olen vähään aikaan nähnyt. Ihanaa touhuta ulkona ja vielä kun sais joskus selän kuntoon vois oikeesti alkaa taas konttaileen kukkapenkeissä:)

First time I have taken pictures outside, it has been quite warm +10-15 celsius and I love being outside. It feels like my life has started again after six months darkness. There is nothing to shoot in my little garden yet but I bought these lovely anemones and shoot them.

Time to have a cup of blooming

 Pation laudoitus jo puhtaana  lumesta ja grillikausi aukaistu sunnuntaina. Että ulkona grillattu ruoka voikin olla hyvää. En tiedä onko pelkkää luuloa vai onko oikeesti ulkona tehty ruoka parempaa!?!

Nyt alkoi sitten kova tarkkailu kukkapenkissä siitä kohtaa missä ei lunta enään, miten ensimmäiset kukat alkavat kasvamaa, siellä puskee jo jotain läpi. Olis kiva nähdä edes kerran krookukset ennenko jänikset käyvät  vetäsemässä suihinsa niinko viime keväänä. Jos täältä löytyy metsästäjiä meidän pihalle saa tulla passiin tussarinsa kanssa:)

Snow has melting so fast that you can see it in your eyes. We have opened the grilling season last Sunday and it was SO good to have out grilled food. I don't know is it just in my head or is the real thing that food which is made outside is better than made in your kitchen!?!

Now I'm anxiously waiting for the first flowers to blooming. I hope I get to see crocuses before the rabbits eat them all like last spring, it is so annoying that they eat everything.

Kukkataivas/Flower heaven

Voi elläimen käsi näitä kukkia, kuolen ja olen taivaassa. Suurin osa näistä on sidontakilpailusta puutarhamessuilta ja sydän meinaa ihan pakahtua kaikesta kauneudesta. Jos jotain haluaisin osata se on tämä sidontataito. Lepaan ammattioppilaitoksen esittelijä kysyi osastolla kiinnostaisiko ammatinvaihto...joo mutta kuka maksaa lainat ja laskut. Haaveilen ja ihailen muiden taitoja. Tämä viimeinen on tosi hauska, olisi kiva tietää miten tämä alaosa/sipuli on tehty. En tiedä minä päivänä ovat näitä tehneet mutta olisi ollut tosi makee nähdä taiteilijat työssään.

These are from garden fair and I really don't have enough english words to describe how much I like these and how beautiful all these flowers are, how I will die front of this beauty and wake up in flower heaven:)

I want to share these with whole world and bring the joy of flowers to you all.

Ihana vanha auto täynnä kukkia. Tälläinen somistus kyllä kelpaisi puutarhaan jos olisi pihalla kokoa:)
